Continuing to celebrate design and architecture in the capital, ‘10×10 Drawing the City London’ 2013 captured London’s vibrant East End. Encouraging artists and architects to stop and look at the city, contributors produced original artworks inspired by the area’s rich cultural diversity. Capturing the fascinating buildings and public spaces, participating artists and architects articulated their own personal responses and interactions of their 10×10 grid square. This year’s exhibition took place in Granary Square and was auctioned by Sotheby’s. Money raised in 2013 helped fund the building of street children’s centres in Ghana and Kenya.
